During the working process of waste metal recycling equipment, the motor is overheated, and there are many factors that cause the temperature of the shredder motor to be too high. In summer, it is not only that people should pay attention to heatstroke prevention, but also that machinery and equipment should pay attention to heat dissipation The motor of the shredder should pay attention to heat dissipation on weekdays, not to mention summer.
After the motor heats up, the insulation temperature of the motor windings rises, and the response of the insulation to high temperatures is intense, which will accelerate aging and reduce the service life. If the temperature rise is too high, the insulation will be carbonized, and the insulation effect will be lost. The windings of the motor will be short-circuited and the metal shredder will be defective. Therefore, the inspection and protection of the motor overheating will reduce the incident rate and reduce the incident loss. It is very important to improve the economic performance of the company. So how do you know if the motor is overheating?
The following is the method of dealing with excessive heat summarized by our company:
1. Feeling method: It is a method to estimate the temperature of the motor by touching the regular part of the motor with your hand and according to the strength of the feeling heat.
2. Thermometer method: Use the thermometer to directly measure the temperature rise of the motor.
3. Resistance method: Use the principle that the conductor resistance increases with temperature to measure.
In addition to the excessive external temperature, what other factors can cause the motor to overheat?
1. The air gap between the stator and the rotor of the metal recovery equipment is very small, which simply causes collision between the stator and the rotor. A simpler solution is to cover the end cap.
2. The motor's abnormal oscillation or noise simply causes the motor to heat up. Should be cleared for specific conditions. Oscillation not only generates noise but also rated load.
3. The bearing operation is abnormal, and the motor must generate heat. Whether the bearing operation is normal can be judged by the temperature experience. You can use the hand or thermometer to check whether the bearing temperature is within the normal range.
4. The power supply voltage is too high, the excitation current will increase, and the motor will overheat. According to national standards, the change of the motor power voltage should not exceed ± 5% of the rated value, and the output power of the motor can adhere to the rated value. The motor power voltage should not exceed ± 10% of the rated value, and the difference between the three-phase power voltages should not exceed ± 5% of the rated value.
5. Winding short circuit, interturn short circuit, interphase short circuit and winding open circuit. When this happens, it is necessary to stop processing immediately.
6. The material leaks into the inside of the motor, which reduces the insulation of the motor, thereby reducing the temperature rise of the motor. Should shut down immediately to remove foreign objects.
7. The motor is running out of phase. In order to prevent the motor from running out of phase, in addition to accurately selecting and installing low-voltage electrical appliances and protection devices, the relevant standards should be strictly implemented, feeder lines should be laid, and regular inspection and protection should be strengthened.
